I am Elza and I make all the soap.
I started making soap nearly 10 years ago and since then that is all we've been using!
There is no comparison to commercial soap.
Once you have started to use natural handmade soap, you will never go back to mass produced commercial soap which are either completely made with chemicals or so laced with chemicals that it can hardly be called soap anymore.
Interesting, see how many so-called soaps are actually allowed to put "soap" on their lablels -- due to all the chemical ingredients many are simply not soap anymore.
I make soap the old fashioned way from scratch: using vegetable oils such as olive oil, sunflower oil, palm and coconut oils.
These oils are then saponified with an alkali and natural colourants, herbs and essential oils are added.
All my soap are made using a process called "cold process". This process saves energy and every little bit helps to reduce our carbon footprint.
I don't use any preservatives because it is not neccesary! The oil is fully saponified -- thus all the oil in the formula is turned into soap. There is no free oil left in your soap bar which can turn rancid. I have had soap bars that's been good after 5 years and still had a lovely smell.
